ABOUT FAWN MOUNTAIN LODGE

Welcome to Fawn Mountain Lodge, a vacation home rental providing relaxed luxury for groups of 6 to 10 people. Located in the North Georgia Mountains with spectacular views of three mountain ranges. The light filled luxury home has 4 bedrooms and 5 baths.

This beautiful new home is now ready for your exciting family or group vacation. With stunning and unparalleled year-round, long-range mountain views that will leave you amazed. The owners, Bill & Brenda Bender, working with a local designer have spent the last 9 months personally selecting each item in this home to their exact specifications. As Premier Hosts, they’ve spent the last 17 years making sure that each guest that has stayed in their properties has had a memorable visit.  With over 100 5-Star guest ratings on their prior vacation rental adventure at the beach.

Everything in this home is new!  No hand me downs, or extra no longer used furniture in this home.  The new beds are high-end Purple or Nectar brands; fluffy new Peacock Alley towels and linens, laundry soap by The Laundress and kitchen products by Homecourt, Courtney Cox’s new line of Home Goods. The heavenly fragrance of Cece will make cleaning up the kitchen a joy. My husband even commented on how much he liked the scent (Not something he normally notices).

The main level kitchen has a large quartz island with 4 swivel counter stools, lots of custom Alder wood cabinets, a dining area off the kitchen with a dining set for ten, an additional pull up leaf will seat 12.  Outside you’ll find a large sectional with an additional two teak lounge chairs. Sit and enjoy family and friends around the wood burning fireplace with great long-range mountain views. The new grill comes with a convection oven/air fryer which you can make a pizza, bake cookies, or even air-fry some veggies! Around the corner of the deck, you’ll find an outdoor table that seats six.  The large deck also has a total of 6 rocking chairs to enjoy the mountain views and crisp clean mountain air.

The living room has a large sectional, a large leather ottoman to stretch your legs, two-barrel chairs with Mongolian lumbar pillows on either side of the fireplace, lanterns with flickering faux candles that automatically come on at night.  Above the fireplace is a Samsung Frame 65” TV that displays different rotating pieces of art when the TV is off.  Plenty of seating for everyone.  With one last hide chair, Brenda’s folly piece!  Carrying on a tradition from the previous beach house.  Our previous guests will understand my folly…

There are three large primary bedrooms all with king beds, large en suite baths, with double sinks, walk-in closets, plus huge walk-in showers with rain heads, six jets, plus a hand wand.  There is also a seating area that ladies can shave their legs or wash the kiddos with another hand shower.  These showers are in the main level and upper-level baths.  The lower level has a tub for those who like a soak, or an area wash the kids. Each bath comes with luxurious full sized environmentally friendly amenities of shampoo, conditioners and body wash Guild & Pepper by Gilchrist & Soames. There are half baths on the main level and the lower level. We also supply environmentally friendly bamboo toilet paper by Who Gives a Crap from Australia.

The lower level is Fun Central!  You’ll have a hard time trying to figure out what you want to play first.  There is a pool table, a regulation length shuffleboard table (you can also bowl on it) and a dart board.  In the seating area in front of one of 4 fireplaces you can watch those playing or set up a game of cards, monopoly, checkers or one of a dozen new games. You’ll be able to make popcorn in the microwave and pull out a cold one from the beverage cooler in the small lower-level kitchen. Watch a game or movie on the 65” flat screen TV above the fireplace inside or outside in the hot tub, while also enjoying the long-range mountain views, or a movie or game from another 65” flat screen TV.  You’ll be able to watch the mountain ranges as they change colors as the sun goes down.  Each primary bedroom has access to their level of decking from sliding glass doors.  The upstairs bedroom has a private balcony. Outside each room are two rocking chairs that you can while away the morning, drinking your coffee watching the mountains change in the shifting morning light. It doesn’t get much better than this.

The bunk room sleeps four and is off the game room.  A sliding barn door separates the bunk room from the game area when it’s time for the kids to go to bed. We didn’t skimp in the kid’s room. Each bed has its own faux fur star pillow, bedding with stars that glow in the dark, a drawer chest to store their clothing, plus a lidded chest for fun, two ottomans that can be used around the drum table for games and a snuggley big black stuffed bear.

At the end of the day, you can roast marshmallows for s'mores (we even supply the roasting sticks) or have a glass a wine while you sit back and enjoy the outdoor fire pit.  It's only a short distance from the house and on a level area so the grandparents can enjoy the fire pit, too.

Fawn Mountain Lodge, located in Mountain High a gated community that caters to families, has all paved roads and is only 20 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. So come, relax and enjoy a carefree and fun stay in the mountains.
